FAQ
Do we get the high resolution images after the wedding?
Yes! Almost all of our collections come with the high resolution images. During the booking process I will go over all of our collections and what they include. Some packages may be personalized to your needs.
Do you travel for weddings and events?
Yes! Most of our weddings happen in the Bay Area including Napa, San Francisco, San Jose, Santa Cruz, Monterey, Carmel and Big Sur, but we travel outside those areas for weddings often. We have photographed weddings in Colorado, Mexico and all around California and love to travel for weddings! Feel free to reach out to us about your destination wedding!
Do you use a 2nd photographer at weddings?
Yes! For events larger than 50 people, I will bring one of my professionally trained and approved second photographers to your event. This will insure that we capture every moment of your special day as well as a variety of angles and perspectives.
For events smaller than 50 guests, a second photographer will be available upon request.
How soon will we get the images back after the wedding is over?
As a photographer I take pride in my work, and will deliver the best product possible to my clients. Because of my attention to detail during the editing process, my clients can expect their images 8 weeks from their event date.
May we request specific photos for you to capture at the event?
Absolutely! Two weeks before your big day, I will go over all of the details with you about what I will be photographing as well as the timeline of events. During this time, I will make a list of any special requests that you have. We will go over all of the specifics, including family portraits and any group shots that you would like.
May we post images on social media and our wedding website?
Yes! We love it when you share our work with your friends and family! We just ask that you honor our hard work by giving us photo credit. (Example: Photo by Orbie Pullen Photography)
We also highly recommend posting your Adventure Session gallery on your wedding website for your friends and family to enjoy in anticipation of your big day!
What do I do next to book you as my wedding photographer?
Please contact us through our contact page or email us and we will start the booking process!
How many photos do you deliver after the wedding?
Each event is unique, but typically you will receive about 75 or more photos per hour. For example, if you book us for an 8 hour wedding, you will receive at least 600 photos.
What should we wear for the Adventure Session?
Be yourself! Although we encourage our couples to dress up, it is more important to be comfortable with what you are wearing. Show us your own style and feel free to bring a couple of different outfits! (Keep in mind you may have to change in the car, behind a tree or in a restroom depending on the location of your session.) It is ok to go bold with color and don't feel like you have to match your partner. In our experience, large patterns and cashmere don't photograph as well as others. Wear what makes you feel your best!
Do you back up all of your files after the event?
Absolutely! After your event, we immediately backup all of the photographs to at least two separate locations including an online backup. We know your wedding is a once in a lifetime event and we take protecting your images very seriously. We store your images securely online as well as a hard drive that we keep off site in case of a natural disaster such as a fire or earthquake.
Do you photograph details and family group portraits on the wedding day?
Yes! As a wedding photographer, we know how much time and energy goes into planning your day. It is a time to celebrate your love while being surrounded by friends and family. We will capture every aspect of your story, from the family group portraits down to the small special details. We are more than happy to show you examples of them upon request.
What if you get sick before the wedding day?
In the 16 years I have been photographing weddings, I have never missed a wedding due to illness or injury. The one and only time I had to call in a backup photographer, was when our son decided he wanted to join the world early and my wife went into labor.
I have several good friends who are wedding photographers, and in the extremely unlikely event that I couldn't physically shoot your wedding, I would be able to book a replacement photographer. My trained second photographer would also accompany them, to insure that you receive the stress-free, quality, and seamless experience you deserve.
